Amigos de Pima/Hispanic Student Endowment Fund provides financial assistance for students at Pima Community College enrolled in bilingual courses in preparation for careers requiring dual language proficiency.

Arizona Association of Chicanos for Higher Education (AACHE) is a statewide Chicana and Chicano non-profit organization. Founded in 1983, AACHE was established to promote equitable educational and employment opportunities within Arizona colleges and universities. AACHE provides a forum for discussion of Chicana and Chicano higher education issues and identifies workable solutions to these issues.

Arizona Latino Medical Association (ALMA) was established May 29, 1993, by Latino physicians banding together to advocate quality health care, “cultural competence,” and affordable, accessible health care for all Arizona residents.  

Borderlands Theatre is a theatre that reflects the cultural and racial diversity of the Arizona/Mexico Border region, by developing new scripts, and education projects to serve our youth.

El Centro Cultural de los Americas is located in the downtown arts district, and this non-profit organization serves as a venue for multicultural events, not just for Latin America, but the entire world community that is represented in Tucson.

Chicanos Por La Causa is a community development corporation providing social services to low-income communities.

Community Partnership of Southern Arizona is a local, community-based, non-profit organization that is dedicated to ensuring the provision of accessible, high quality, and cost-effective behavioral health services for adults and children in southern and southeastern Arizona.

COPE Behavioral Services is a not-for-profit behavioral health organization with nearly 30 years experience providing innovative solutions to community problems. At various locations throughout Tucson, COPE offers treatment and rehabilitation services for substance abuse, general mental health, and serious mental illness.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers are citizens from the community making a significant contribution to the community by becoming actively involved in protecting the rights of abused, neglected, and abandoned children.

The Gonzales Law Firm is a full-service bilingual law firm offering legal service in the area of personal injury.  The attorneys of the Gonzales Law Firm have over 77 years combined experience practicing law.

Hispanic Professional Action Committee studies issues impacting Hispanics to effect positive changes for the benefit of the community. Promotes Hispanic representation on boards, commissions and other agencies to monitor and/or elicit change.

Hispanic Women’s Corporation provides a cultural center for Hispanic women from varying occupations and interests to become involved in community affairs including education, industry, political education, and civil rights. Raises scholarship funds.

La Frontera Center, Inc.  is a non-profit community based mental health center providing mental health, substance abuse, and psychiatric rehabilitation services at 19 different locations since 1968.

League of Mexican American Women has awarded over one million dollars of scholarships raised by the group. Instrumental in Florecitas, a 15-year-old celebration presented at the Fiesta de Xochimilco.

League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is dedicated to the social, educational, political and economic goals of Hispanics. Challenges discrimination and fosters private enterprise among Spanish speakers. Proactive in addressing high school drop-out rates.

Los Descendientes del Presidio de Tucson is a non-profit civic organization whose primary mission is the preservation of our Southwestern history and certain elements of Tucson’s disappearing heritage.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Southern Arizona provides advocacy for individuals and their family members who are experiencing difficulties in the mental health system. NAMISA also provides support for families and friends of seriously ill people via telephone and in-person contacts, support group meetings and educational meetings open to the public.

National Latino Peace Officers Association – Tucson Chapter.  The specific purposes of the organization are to eliminate prejudice and discrimination in the criminal justice system; particularly Law Enforcement, reduce community juvenile delinquency and lessen citizen tension in predominantly Latino communities.

Planned Parenthood of Southern Arizona is a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation affiliated with the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. It provides high-quality health care and education focusing on reproductive and sexual health, and advocates for public policy that facilitates access the accurate information and reproductive health care.

Reforma – Tucson Chapter promotes Library services to Hispanics, provides cultural programming, networks with schools, college/university libraries, and mentors library students.

Sunnyside Neighborhood Association is a non-profit organization that encourages higher education and recognizes students in the Sunnyside Unified School District via its annual All American Student Awards dinner.  It strives to improve the quality of life for all by creating a safer environment through partnerships with businesses, health care providers, schools, community groups, and the Tucson Police Department.

Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce promotes the economic development of Hispanic businesses and provides access to the Hispanic market through advocacy, education and networking.

University of Arizona Chicano/Hispano Student Affairs  provides programs and services to support academic success, develop leadership skills and embrace cultural identity. C/HSA is dedicated to the retention and graduation of Chicano/Hispano Students.

University of Arizona Hispanic Alumni promotes academic excellence among Hispanic students, provides financial support and develops linkages between students, alumni, professionals and the business community.

University of Arizona Mexican American Studies & Research Center is committed to improving the quality of life for Hispanics by addressing their health, cultural, social, and economic concerns in Arizona.
